Has the time come for the central and state media departments in the country to fix the standards of newspapers? Will the Press Council of India regulate journalism?

All the RNI buyers in the country think of themselves as a newspaper. How many of these newspapers are neutral? How many magazines deserve that neutral magazine? How many of these are socially beneficial? How many of these are political parties? How many of these are fake? How many of them are commercially motivated? How many of these newspapers are meaningless? It’s all talking about journalism.

A PRO says, the press has increased. There are about 400 newspapers in a district, out of which 200 are published as monthlies, weeklies and dailys. But not a single newspaper has a large number of visitors online, that is, online, but even such newspapers are giving concessions and advertisements by the government today. I mean, says an official from the Information and Public Relations Department. They give daily newspapers to the PRO office. They buy bus passes. They buy ads, he said.

I asked him. Is the press for the people? Or the government? Who should run a newspaper? He could not answer. And, I said. These dailies have to print at least 10,000 copies a day. How many thousands of rupees were sent daily to their bank accounts by the agents of the respective newspapers? How many newspapers are reporting that account? If this is an aside!

Next, under the Circulation Act, each newspaper has to print 10,000 copies daily. How many of these magazines make ten thousand copies? This is what the Press Council of India should look at here. That is, out of 100,000 magazines, not even 10,000 copies will hit these 10,000 replies. But when the audit accounts are shown, everyone calculates that they make 10,000 copies daily and shows the returns, receipts and expenses in the account paper. But in reality there is nothing there, and this is the pseudopolitical journalism business of the present daily newspapers.

There is not a single news in it that people need to see these newspaper news, most of the news published on TV, the news copied on the Internet, the news that has been copied in some other newspapers, this is the news that is in it. There will be nothing new. The Press Council of India should examine every newspaper and its website in this regard. What is the quality and area of these magazines? That will be known.

What is worse is that I am a big newspaper, he is a small magazine, I am this TV reporter, that TV reporter, I am Dinamalar reporter, Dina Thanthi reporter, Dinakaran reporter and so on.

These are the people who are the owners of the newspapers in their respective districts. Today, they are the first to collect money from illegal businessmen. Muralidharan, general secretary of the Tamil Nadu Federation of Social Welfare Journalists, who is also our correspondent in Theni district, said that the complaint of the district SPK has been signed by many journalists.

If the country and society go to the social criminals and collect money without any thought about it, what will they do without increasing the criminals in the society? In this context, will the Press Council of India examine the issue of giving concessions and publicity to these newspapers? How can they become the fourth pillar of the country?

When this incompetent crowd, qualified journalists, qualified newspapers, publish news against social criminals, these are the people who see the betrayal of Ettappan. Behind them, rowdies, mostly social criminals, are not without rowdyism. This is something the police know.

A complaint has been lodged with the Superintendent of Police of Theni district that this is happening in Theni district. A copy of the same is given here. If this is the case, how will the social criminals in the country repent? How can those who work hard come forward? Besides, how can deserving political parties and deserving politicians come to power? That’s why, they’re all fighting these social criminals right now. All of them belong to some political party, organization or press association, press association, press identity card and so on.

The law of circulation of people’s tax money not only gives a fake media image to the daily press, but the fake laws of such newspapers are now the main reason for increasing evils and crimes without any benefit to the society and the country. Just as these newspapers give certificates to a person who is good by saving the party no matter how much he is involved in politics, if the honest journalists and newspapers send complaints to the police expressing anguish and concern that social criminals are earning millions by taking money from them indirectly! What will be their position in that district? To that extent, it is clear that Theni district is in a bad situation.

Though the situation is the same in all the districts, it is the highest in a few districts. The Press Council of India asked who are the competent newspapers and qualified journalists to regulate all this in the interest of the country and in the interest of society? On behalf of the makkaladhikaram magazine and the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Journalists’ Federation, we would like to inform the Press Council of India that journalism has been forced to regulate what is the issue.
