Lakhs of devotees visit Tiruvannamalai on Poornima, Amavasya, Sivarathiri and Chitra Pournami days. Despite the scorching heat, the devotees were talking about the huge crowd of devotees who came for Chitra Pournami yesterday.
Also, the crowd of devotees who came to Tiruvannamalai went to Girivalam in a thorny crisis. A large number of devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala visited the famous Annamalayar temple yesterday to have the darshan of Chithira Pournami. The public is asking what did District Minister Velu do for this Chitra Pournami Girivalam which is visited by about 10 lakh people?
Not only that, there is no proper bus facility to this Annamalayar temple. Due to this, the devotees were in great trouble. One side traffic didn’t fix it. That is, the bus stopped five kilometers ago. From there, people took free mini buses and autorickshaws to reach the temple. All this is unnecessary. Later, the same buses were operated on the way down the Girivalam route at night. Nothing like this is done properly.
Apart from this, even though this Annamalayar temple has a railway station, why did Minister Velu not provide rail transport facilities? If this is the case in one’s own constituency, in one’s own town, what about the rest? Instead of doing all this, Minister Velu is doing something unnecessary against Hinduism. What if it is? Efforts are being made to place Karunanidhi’s statue on the Girivalam path.
That is, the Girivalam path is the place of Annamalaiar. If the statue is to be installed on the land in the name of a trust, then according to the law, only the court can decide such a matter. I don’t even know the legal implications. The people of Tiruvannamalai district say that they are doing it unknowingly. Not only that, this is a spiritual land, why are you bringing an atheist to this spiritual land and putting it here? Is that the main question for spiritual lovers?
Not only that, let them place the statue of Karunanidhi on this Girivalam path that Siddhas and Saints go every day. Spiritualists say that the DMK will soon have the wrath of Annamalai in Tiruvannamalai. What sacrifice did Karunanidhi make for Tamil Nadu? Martyrs are not important. There is no one to think of glorifying the martyrs. Karunanidhi’s biggest political treasure for Tamil Nadu, rowdyism and corruption. And wine shops opened.
This is Karunanidhi’s political history. Therefore, the people of Tiruvannamalai district say that Karunanidhi’s statue will not fulfill Velu’s dream for a time in this spiritual land.
