The current climate change in Tamil Nadu has increased the temperature of the earth, extreme cold, storms, rains, floods, etc., the only way to prevent this is to plant trees in the country and save human life and animals from the effects of nature.
People are unable to work under the impact of this heat. How much do they suffer before going from one place to another? To that extent, the condition of life has been exacerbated by this environmental degradation and global warming. People have been talking about the temperature being over 110 degrees a day. If we want to change this situation, we have to protect the country and its people from environmental damage. This is an important duty of the central and state governments.
A separate plan should be made for this and green forestry should be brought in it. If the project is handed over to the village panchayats or local bodies, it will be spoiled by not doing it properly, but people who can work for 100 days can be hired for this work. Where is it? With the help of Surveyors, Pollution Control Board, Water Resources Department, Village Administrative Officer, District Collectors i.e. Revenue, Environment Department, Block Development Department, a separate scheme should be brought for this purpose.
Only then should an awareness system of social activists and officials be formed to maintain these plants, so that the scheme can be fully implemented. This is a very, very necessary project. This needs to be implemented immediately. If not! How much more lives will be lost in the last 10 years? Will there be a food shortage? It is impossible to predict what will happen with this climate change. To that extent, the impact will be.
Therefore, the DMK government and the new central government should immediately implement this scheme throughout the country. Not only that, in order to reduce the number of petrol and diesel vehicles, the government should give more subsidies to electric vehicles and bring in vehicles that are needed for the use of the people. It should be lower than the price people are buying.
Is the country free from plastic waste, conservation of water bodies and toxic smoke from industries that affect the atmosphere? We need to investigate and take action. If all this is done, the younger generation can live peacefully in the country.
Therefore, the only way to prevent this is to come up with a separate scheme for green forestry by the central and state governments. It is very, very important. If you keep the tree for duty, do not water it, do not maintain it, the project will fail.
Not only that, but every village should also have at least 10,000 saplings and more than 20,000 saplings. Similarly, in cities, town panchayats, where is the government land? Who has encroached upon it? The main demand of the social activists is that the central and state governments should realize that it is a responsible task to find all this and take immediate action.
