Why don’t IAS officers understand the problem that people’s power is saying in the press and on the internet that laws in journalism should be changed according to the times? Is it a corporation commission? Does people’s tax money belong only to them? Why are people’s representatives taking this issue to the courts? What is the state of the people when you are fighting for no in journalism?
What benefits have the BJP government at the Centre and the DMK government in the state done for the lower and middle classes? They are being used as a vote bank. They don’t know politics. Not literate. Drug addicts. This is the position of the majority.
But even if the lower class and middle class have some degree education, government jobs, uneducated jobs, salaries, everything is in question. These people don’t know how to think. Even the educated get involved in caste politics and will they get some support there? That’s what they’re looking for.
The politics of political parties is that all political parties do it in their mouths. Moreover, politics is to exploit them, not politics for their benefit. But the income of the rulers multiplies into crores and the income of political parties increases into crores. But people’s incomes are going down. If so, then it is true that people are being deceived.
Moreover, all the lies they tell are published in corporate newspapers and television and are doing business. Their vote bank is being bought by their party brokers. At the time of elections, they should be satisfied with the thousand, 500, 2000 given to them and they are giving education to the descendants of these people by their hard work. Apart from how many rulers and political parties and government officials, the children of school teachers study in government schools?
Moreover, even if the middle class and lower class people work hard and study, they will not get any progress. But only the press and TV corporates will be projecting an image that the government is doing all the good for them. That is the politics of Tamil Nadu till date. Not only that, these people are not paid for their labour.
The same situation is in the same situation that the central and state governments have so far not given any income to the middle class newspapers and those who work sincerely, but have been telling the press laws that the tax money of the people belongs only to the corporates. This is wrong. makkaladhikaram magazine has been saying for more than 5 years that the laws of the press should be changed according to the times.
Moreover, journalism has moved from print to online and laws need to be changed accordingly. What magazines deserve it? It should be decided in the news without political interference. Will the central and state governments do this? They won’t do it for a while. The reason is that there is a corporate media for their selfishness, apart from the rulers, there is no public interest.
Further, in the absence of social justice, the Social Welfare Journals have to file a case in the High Court of Madras. If this is the case with the press, what about the people? When will people understand this?
