Are the budgets of the central and state governments for the poor and middle class? For the corporates? Is it the same for social welfare journalism and corporates? Is this the social justice budget of the central and state governments?

A budget should be made by the central government or the state government with the poor and middle class. The rich man can buy and eat at any price, but the poor and the middle class people are not.

When prices go up, they really suffer. They face life problems where they can’t go out. Politicians with a conscience used to budget for them at that time, but now politicians without a conscience are making budgets for corporates.

We can run the government only if the corporate is good, then what about these poor middle class people? Put all the burden on their heads. Even if you buy a small item, if you add the tax, they will add it from the shopkeeper to the management of the company. Has anyone talked about this? Has any newspaper spoken? Gold is down. Where is it at least? Even today, it is unaffordable for the poor and middle class.

It is wrong for corporates to talk and publish news that gold has come down due to the reduction in tax on gold. Till date, the price of gold is a heavy burden for the poor and middle class. Gold should be brought under GST. Similarly, petrol and diesel prices should be brought under GST.

Today’s poor and middle class people can use gold only if the price of gold is fixed for the poor and middle class people up to about Rs 20,000 per sovereign. The price of gold was such that they could not even look back. Now that you have reduced Rs 5,000, gold will not go down. Therefore, it should be for the poor and middle class to be in a situation where only the rich are using gold.

So, if gold is to be reduced, it should bring gold under the ambit of GST and petrol and diesel prices should also be brought under GST. Only then the essential commodities used by the poor and middle class will not be as heavy a burden as the people can afford. Right now, everything from groceries to vegetables is expensive.

Even if there are two or three people in an ordinary middle class family, they cannot live a family life without a minimum of 30,000 groceries.

Also, the farmers should be sold the inputs at a lower price and they should not suffer losses. This should be the budget preparation. But the DMK has no right to talk about this budget. What budget have they made so far? DMK party members, their IT wing and ministers have to give certificates for their budgets.

Corporate magazines and television channels will issue certificates for them. No one else will give. If you don’t budget even for ordinary newspapers like us, how will you budget for the country and its people? You are budgeting only for corporates, look back at the poor and middle class people, look back at the newspapers run by the poor middle class. Ask the news department what to do about it?

We should not be rejected for the 30% commission that corporate newspapers and television channels give to the news industry. We also have a share of people’s tax money. What does it mean? Come up with the rules, do all the messages they say reach the people? Also, is what they say legalized in journalism? What is the mystery politics involved in this? People don’t understand that. Even those in the field of journalism do not understand this mysterious politics. There will be a small percentage of those who understand.

Therefore, there should be budgets of the central and state governments which give importance to social welfare newspapers. So, if the budgets of the central and state governments are oriented towards social welfare! I submit this opinion that there is no doubt that your intention will definitely be on the social welfare press.
