Why journalism? The central and state governments and political parties do not understand the question of why and the political parties have to be under their selfish control.

Moreover, the world of journalism knows very well that makkal adhikaram is a newspaper that has been continuously telling the truth about this field to the Central Government and the State Government for more than 5 years. Even so, those facts are not accepted and ignored. That is why the People’s Power Magazine and the Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Journalists Federation have to approach the court.

Why go to court? We have to go to court only when our rights are taken away. Whether it is an individual or a newspaper, when they do not get their rights, there is a need to go to court. Here it has been brought to the notice of the Central and State Governments.

If the privileges and advertisements given to the corporate press are only for its own development, why are social welfare newspapers denied them? Is it the proverb that the poor word doesn’t work? That’s wrong. Social welfare magazines are more likely to convey facts to the people.

Corporate newspapers, whether it is commercial or political party, according to what they say, the news will be published in those newspapers. Why was the Broadcasting Services (Regulation) Bill withdrawn in Parliament today? According to the Broadcasting Services Regulation Bill, the BJP government will impose various restrictions on internet users.

In addition, there are limitations in the bill that prohibit the voluntary use of videos and audios that independent journalists can send and receive on social media and websites.

Moreover, in a democratic country, controlling the media, dominating it, maintaining bureaucracy, all this is unacceptable. Also, what can be done? How to do it? False news, anti-social news, anti-national news, all these can be regulated. Similarly, giving crores of advertisements to certain corporate magazines and television channels and encouraging them alone is a social injustice in the field of journalism.

People’s Power is the only newspaper that has been fighting for this. So which newspapers are for the use of the people? Which TV channels are doing the best? It should be encouraged. It is a great tragedy in the field of journalism that they run newspapers that do not deserve it, publish news and opinions that are of no use to the people and the government, and that too as a newspaper and they also call themselves journalists, together they call themselves associations and sell the identity cards of this association. Control this, fix all this.

Encourage newspapers that the country needs. It is only then that social justice and freedom for the people and their voices inform the government and realize that it is the responsibility of the rulers to solve its problems. It is necessary to correct the mistakes. Bring such a good regulatory bill.

If you want a newspaper to cover up your mistakes, to glorify and advertise your activities! That’s selfish. Crores of taxpayers’ money is being wasted by some corporate TV and newspapers for more than 50 years. So far, no small newspaper or weekly, monthly or daily newspaper has revealed this. I didn’t bring this truth to the people.

Moreover, journalism is for the public good. Look at the magazine in that pursuit of social welfare. Which magazine is worthy of it? Choose neutrally. Leaving it aside and enacting laws to dominate and control the press by power is not compatible with democracy. Therefore, journalism should be used for public welfare, for the protection of press freedom, for the sake of the country and society. Journalism should be seen as a force to weed out evils and as a force for social change. If it’s a magazine for you, it’s not a magazine.

A magazine is not a corporate product, so its quality is not in the name or label. The central and state governments and the people should come forward to give importance to the press which is truthful, honest and expressive, in the news, in the good of the nation and in the interest of the social welfare. How many magazines are there that qualify? Make a list of the government.

Is it a business motive? Political party motive? Which one? Committees of judges should decide impartially, and people are more likely to believe business lies. Good things, good ideas, people see less than that. Besides, it is the duty of the press to point out the mistakes of the people. It is the duty of the press to point out the mistakes of the rulers. It is the duty of the press to point out the mistakes of political parties.

All this you have to hide for our selfishness. For our self-interest, we should be given importance and publicity. This is the situation in which these corporate newspaper channels have been in this situation. Is this why crores of people’s taxpayers are given concessional advertisements? Moreover, if the newspapers that are buying these concessions and advertisements are brought to court by giving fake audit report accounts, showing false circulation accounts, cheating the central and state governments, how many officials will be caught in the news department? How many newspapers will change? Must be understood.

Because! Today, if there is no judiciary and journalism, there is no democracy in the country. Moreover, the Broadcasting Services (Regulation) brought by the Central Government has not been brought properly by the Central Government but has been selfishly brought and now it has announced that it is withdrawing. It failed.
