Kolkata: In a shocking incident, a trainee doctor was allegedly raped and murdered in West Bengal’s Kolkata. The doctor’s parents have alleged that she was gang-raped and murdered.

The woman trainee doctor was a second-year postgraduate medical student at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata. He was on night duty on March 8 when he went to sleep in the seminar hall of the hospital at around 3 am. The next morning, he was found half-naked. An autopsy of the medical student has confirmed that she was sexually assaulted and murdered.

The student’s neck bone was broken. There are injuries to private parts, face, lips, neck, abdomen, fingers and ankles. He was then killed by holding his breath. A case of sexual assault and murder has been registered and one person has been arrested. A team of three doctors conducted the postmortem. The entire process is documented through video. Two women, including her mother, were present during the post-mortem, police said.

The police have arrested Sanjay Rai for allegedly raping and murdering a doctor. Doctors in many parts of the country are protesting against the murder. A Kolkata court has ordered a CBI probe into the sexual assault case of a woman doctor. In this case, shocking information has come out in the post-mortem report of the deceased doctor.

The injuries on the doctor’s body were caused by the most brutal and violent assault. Several parts of the victim’s head showed signs of shock. There are bite marks on both ears, lips and neck. The post-mortem report also mentioned that he had 150 milligrams of cells in his body.
