Accepting bribe to vote in Parliament or Assembly does not come under my privilege: Supreme Court By PTI.

A seven-judge bench of the Supreme Court has ruled that taking bribe for MPs and MLAs to address or vote in the state assembly does not come under the privilege of the country.

 Also, if an MP or an MLA takes a bribe and speaks or votes in the House, they can be prosecuted in court . Apart from this, the elected representatives of the people, whether in Parliament or the Legislative Assembly, are to give concessions to the entire process in the case of special rights. Chief Justice D. Y. Chandra Sood said.

Also, if there were no courts in the country, what would happen to the people today? I don’t know. As far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, governance is not for the people. It is for the rulers and the political parties. From the sarpanch of the village to the chief minister, they think that if people vote, they are their slaves.

 Moreover, the court must protect the dignity of the law. The police, which can maintain law and order, is their handmaiden. IAS officers are more concerned about the welfare of the rulers than the welfare of the people. Therefore, as far as Tamil Nadu is concerned, the court has to protect the people of Tamil Nadu. No way.
