The court has quashed all the false cases filed against Shankar and the Goondas Act. However, if the criminal cases filed against Shankar continue to be done as an act of revenge for a crime of speaking against the DMK in political vendetta, how can the court look at this?
If the police are in the hands of the rulers, are they their slaves? Or will they be used in any way they want for politics? A job to uphold the law? Or is it their job? The police are there for the service of the people. Activists are of the opinion that the court should not be amused if it continues to engage in vindictiveness.
