Journalism is the most important sector that can benefit the society more than any other sector. On the one hand, political interference in this field, some party newspapers, (intervention of small and medium-sized newspapers) newspaper business companies, this is what has created a structure called journalism among the people of the society.
From this, people who can only analyze the truth have emerged, and apart from this, the press means whatever they know on social media like WhatsApp and Facebook, and they are promoting it as breaking news. Besides, if I have the identity card of the journalist given in the newspapers, they threaten me that I am a journalist.
Why is this? The main reason for this is cell phones that have brought this vast world of journalism into one hand today? However, regardless of the purpose of journalism, there is journalism and television. The reason is that even if a rich person in a position tells a lie, the world accepts it, but if a poor person tells the truth, it looks at it indifferently.
Why? This is the case with many people who run newspapers or are journalists rather than lay people. How will they fight for social change? And, even though these people are not fighting for change, without the courage to tell the truth, without the ability to even say it, I also call journalism a dirty word.
Also, let it be corporate, let it be common people’s press, both are one and the same. Still those changes have not happened in society. That is social change, governance and political change for the people. That change is political awareness, which no newspaper or television has done till date. That’s because it all boils down to income. Apart from this, only party-oriented newspapers and newspapers with commercial purpose have been given preferential treatment and advertisements with people’s tax money.
The main reason for this is that the government regulation of the press sector has determined this based on circulation only and this rule is applicable only to the daily press, and a wrong regulation has been followed in the press sector till now.
Moreover, these newspapers, which have earned crores of rupees for 50 consecutive years, can show circulation with the government’s offer and advertisement. How can I show this offer without giving ads to other magazines? If this is to be changed, it should not involve political intervention, can it?
Also, only newspapers fighting for social progress have not received any concessions or advertisements from the government so far. Why is that? Besides, for the selfish interests of the press rulers? Or for the common good of the people? which one Will the higher officials of the central and state government departments know that? Further,
Apart from this, all the online (e-book;e-papers) journals should be duly approved by the central and state governments as per the current mandate. Moreover, based on the news that can be published, on the basis of articles, on the basis of real news for the people, they should be recognized. That too should be recognized without political interference. Moreover, it is very important that the accreditation card should be given, concessions and advertisements should be given. Besides, accreditation should be given to the newspapers registered only in Chennai. Card accreditation card is not provided in any state. It exists only in Tamil Nadu. The news department should remove such errors.
So, they don’t know those facts? Also, the press is to convey the truth to the people. But there is no need for newspapers to take the lies of the rulers and the lies of the political parties to the people as the truth. It does not require promotion or advertising.
No need to waste crores of people’s tax money. All these are growing without any benefit to this society just like how an oak tree has grown in one place as a thorn bush. Only if its development is prevented, government programs, honest governance, can be brought to the poor and middle class people.
How about that? The news industry should stop giving crores of people’s taxes as concessions and advertisements. Until then, all the benefits available to these people will only appear in these magazines and televisions.
So will the top officials of the news department under the control of the central and state governments think about this at least one day? No, do you think it needs a change? The demand of real journalists is to put an end to all this. Besides,
, Even if the authorities want to make that change, will the rulers agree to it? But if the court thinks, it will understand that this is a social injustice and will make a new path for it. At that time some newspapers fighting for social good could bring these changes to the masses. Therefore, on behalf of the press and journalists who are fighting for the social good that this change should be brought in the field of journalism, the makkal adhikaram Journal,
I am obliged to inform the press world that I have decided to send a complaint to our country’s Prime Minister Modi, Supreme Court Judge, President Murmukh, Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Central and State Information Ministers.
