In Kancheepuram Corporation, no work is being done for the people. Corporation Mayor Mahalakshmi and Commissioner do not listen to us about the people’s work to be done in our ward areas. We don’t do any work that needs to be done in our area.
If both of them distribute the funds of the corporation to all the wards and do public works, this problem will not arise. But the commissioner is listening to the mayor Lakshmi. He does not have the support of the majority of councillors and we are desperate to do something for the people in the short time we have.
But they are worried about how much they can take from the funds that come to the corporation. The clash continues in Kancheepuram Corporation, the councillors said.
The majority of the Councilors of the Kancheepuram Corporation have demanded that the Commissioner of Municipalities or the Chief Secretary of Tamil Nadu should investigate the issue and take action.
