So far, the central and state governments have been unable to control corruption in local governance in the country. The only way to do that is to appoint a 10-member social activist committee in villages, a 10-member social activist committee in town panchayats and a 10-member committee in municipalities.

For this, social activists who can be included in a 10-member committee should be eligible. Honest journalists, retired army personnel, retired IAS, IPS officers, retired judges, social activists should be included in villages, town panchayats, municipalities etc. They should not belong to any political party. People belonging to any political party should not be included.

Also, journalists here don’t need a line of big magazine or small magazine, but they have to prove that they deserve it. Also, these committees should have an administrative committee at the district level which may also be at the state level. Create and implement such a system. Corruption is rare in any village.

This is because it is on the recommendation of these 10 people that they have to recommend money to the block development office for the projects implemented in any village. They have to certify that the work is of quality, and engineers have to specify the quality of the work. Try creating this system in every village.

What will the local administration look like in Tamil Nadu? IAS officers and district collectors should think about this. It’s a good plan. If this is implemented, the DMK government will also get a good name. Moreover, this is the biggest check for corruption in local government. When asked about the scam, auditors of the central and state governments said, “We can only look at the paper. What has happened there? They say we don’t have the authority to inspect it.

The local administration is a scam that corrects the audit with paper and photo. This is the only way! Social activists have demanded the Tamil Nadu government to implement this. In this regard, social activists across Tamil Nadu should send this request to the Government of Tamil Nadu as your complaint petition.

Then, if the Tamil Nadu government does not implement it, it can file a case in the court and seek an order to implement it. Apart from this, I would like to state through this message that no IAS officer can eradicate corruption in the local administration.
