Farmers and common people are crying and lamenting that they do not know what to do to stop the looting of mineral wealth. The DMK is a party that runs the government without bothering about people’s sentiments, opinions, complaints or press reports.

The Kamayagoundanpatti town panchayat near Suruli Falls in Theni district is talking about attempts to open the Sangili Karadu Malai stone quarry, which has been stalled for the last ten years due to the farmers’ protest.

The destruction of natural resources by four people who have lived with these natural resources since their birth is causing great distress to the villagers of the area. They don’t know what to do, they are criticizing this regime.

Under the AIADMK regime and the DMK rule, the loot of these mineral resources has been alternately painful. Mineral resources are natural resources that protect the area from natural disasters. Both parties do not understand this and the mineral resources continue to be destroyed. When natural resources are destroyed, an environment is created which is inimical to human life. That is the biggest and hardest struggle that human society is experiencing today from natural resistance such as storms, earthquakes, heavy rains and floods.

That’s the current natural disaster. What causes this natural disaster? To this day, environmentalists ignore what experts say. People lived by loving trees, river sand and living with this nature, did the people who lived with nature be governed by power, or is it the fault of these people, does it fall like a thunderbolt on their heads? The cries of the people are deaf to the money. Don’t even the rulers hear it?

Moreover, the highlight of this is that in the council meeting of this town panchayat, a resolution has been passed not to conduct mineral resource quarrying. They have lodged a complaint with the District Collector. Farmers have complained about this in the Agriculture Grievance Redressal Meeting, but the public complains that the Mineral Resources Department officials do not attend these farmers’ grievance redressal meetings. Will the DMK government understand the anger of the farmers and the common people? This is because people voted for DMK! Is it their punishment? Will people think? –
