Governor R. My. Is the conflict between Ravi and the Tamil Nadu government affecting the people? Not sure. The DMK government accuses the Governor of doing politics. Neither is this. He has freedom of expression. Anyone can say that opinion.
Further, the Governor addresses the law and order situation in Tamil Nadu. Besides, the issue is such that the public itself is talking about the reinstatement of Senthil Balaji as a minister. They say the DMK government should not ignore this. Similarly, the governor should not interfere in the appointment of vice-chancellors in the university. We will appoint them in our personal authority. This is also wrong.
For years, it is the governor who has been appointing vice-chancellors of universities. The vice-chancellors of those universities should be appointed on the basis of merit and merit. Next, he says that since the movement of drugs is common in Tamil Nadu, the police are not taking proper action on the problem. This is like doing politics against the DMK government. In Tamil Nadu, Governor R. My. Had it not been for Ravi, the law and order problem would have been worse.
Because we cannot deny that he is a former DGP officer who served in the Central Intelligence Agency. Moreover, the governor should not talk about social evils such as sexual harassment of individuals and students in schools. They think the governor is a rubber stamp, which is wrong. The governor has full authority to protect the law.
That is why the power to pass any law in the Assembly is in the hands of the Governor. It will become law only if the governor signs it. The power to invoke Article 356 is also in the hands of the Governor. How can a governor with so much power be a rubber stamp? The governors who came to Tamil Nadu think that they should be like that before.
He had worked in the Central Intelligence Agency and had a great responsibility and experience. Which political parties? What kind of corruption, covertly, are they doing? How is this data leaked to the surprise of the Tamil Nadu intelligence department? It’s a surprise to them.
For someone who has been in a big position in the intelligence service for many years, it is a normal thing to take all this. Therefore, the Supreme Court’s opinion should not be judged by looking at the news of newspapers and television which are complicit in corruption and corrupt people. It is a big mistake for the people and the courts to think that it is the biggest newspaper in the country. In which journal is the truth? We have to look for that today. Just as politics has changed for selfish reasons, these newspapers and television channels are also hiding the facts and publishing news for selfish gains.
This is why the news department and the public, the press world, the social welfare press, the central and state government’s press department officials are deceiving and fooling them.
Those who can run newspapers for political parties, those who can run party magazines, those who can run business magazines, they all certify as big newspapers and big journalists. But their qualification! That is, this label is Dina Thanthi, Dinamalar, Hindu, Indian Express, is this an ISI branded company product? This means that the government gives ISI certification to a company based on its quality. As such, can it be certified in the news industry? Moreover, makkal adhikaram is a common man’s magazine run for social welfare.
How many times has Stalin, the same Tamil Nadu Chief Minister who speaks for social justice in political parties, speak on social justice? Would these media officials have brought this to his attention at least for a day? Or would it have been brought to Modi’s notice by the media officials of the central government?
But in politics, the common man is entitled to high office and corruption of lakhs of crores. There’s talent. But if a common man runs a newspaper, he should not even give advertisements to those newspapers. Is there a news department to deceive them through the Circulation Act? The common man can come to power, but the newspaper run by the common man should not be given concessions and advertisements.
What is social justice? What freedom of the press? Is freedom of the press the difference between rich and poor? What is the eligibility? What is the quality? Without knowing all this, taking salary in the news industry is not only fooling the people, but you are also cheating the journalism. That is, the media officials should understand that knowledge cannot be defeated by the law of circulation like the weak can be defeated by the strong.
How many political parties are there in Tamil Nadu? How many MPs and MLAs are there in political parties? Would they have raised a question about this at least one day in the Assembly or Parliament? Shouldn’t the newspapers run by the common man grow What law? Does the Supreme Court know all this?
In such a situation, if the press itself does not get social justice! Where will the common people get sir? For nearly seven years, I have brought the news of this journalism to the notice of the central and state governments. Would any official have brought this to the notice of the government? Ministers, political parties and even those in the media are not more than 90 per cent aware of these facts. But those who think that their speech and photo should be published in the newspaper. That’s what they need. That’s what the press department needs too.
People don’t need newspapers that tell the truth. This is the social purpose of journalism. This is the social justice of the news industry. This is the circulation law of journalism and knowledge cannot be won by money. For more than 50 years, the media has been saying that money is knowledge here. Is this policy decision altruistic? Or is selfishness motivated? That is, political privileges and advertisements only for the newspapers of its choice. Is this the circulation law of journalism? Is there a division of daily, week, month for this? Is it a policy decision of the government to give separate advertisements based on this? besides
If you hit 10,000 reps, that’s the government’s identity card. So what is the quality of a magazine that can beat 10,000 copies? What is the quality of the news? Nothing is needed, whatever the newspaper is copying, whether it is unhelpful and unnecessary news, it is also a newspaper.
Also, even if you score 10,000 reps for social welfare like us, how many ads and offers will you give? To what extent does it reach the people? Without knowing all this, it is useless to work as IAS officers as director and secretary in the Information Department of the Central and State Governments. It is not a big deal. If they run a newspaper with the taxpayers’ money on government advertisements and show circulation and become a big magazine, it is not acceptable.
The demand on behalf of makkal adhikaram Magazine and Internet and Social Welfare Newspapers is that Tamil Nadu Governor R.N. Ravi should bring this issue to the notice of the Central Government. At the very least, it is the duty of the judges to examine and comment on the facts of the Supreme Court.
