It has been reported that former administrators are preventing residents welfare associations and various social welfare organizations from hoisting the flag on the occasion of Independence Day in the country.

A lawyer had appealed that it should be heard as an urgent matter in the High Court. The lawyer had also sought police protection while hoisting the national flag.

Justice G. If Jayachandran is prevented from hoisting the national flag on Independence Day, they should be imprisoned under the Goondas Act.

Besides. Justice G Ramachandran said that providing security to hoist the national flag is a shame and no one can stop the hoisting of the flag and if the police do not take action against those who do so, a case can be filed in the court. Jayachandran said.
