An express train collided with a goods train at Kavarapet railway station near Gummidipoondi in the middle of the night.

The Mysore-Darbhanga Express departed from Chennai and met with an accident near Kavarapet railway station. Luckily there was no attempt in this accident. However, some people have reportedly been injured. Moreover, the main reason for this accident is the negligence of railway management staff. The freight train was already standing on the loop line. The collision took place as the express train was on the same line.

However, it is reported that the signal was given to the express train only on the express train line. Are fast train drivers at fault? Or is it the station master’s fault? The investigation will reveal that. Due to such accidents, railway passengers are scared. They are helpless as the incident took place in the middle of the night. People in the area went for help. An ambulance has been called.

Apart from this, two coaches are on fire. All this has to be done by the railway administration to monitor an express train online from the point of departure till it reaches its destination. Are the drivers and conductors driving the vehicle properly? The railway administration should monitor every matter online.

Apart from this, is the station management signaling this correctly on its own route? That needs to be monitored. If this kind of monitoring is done, there is definitely no possibility of such accidents in the railways. Even the accidents that occur can be corrected by talking to the station master and engine drivers through the walkie-talkie.

Therefore, it is the responsibility of the railway administration to monitor every express train from its departure till its arrival to prevent accidents. Only then will the safety of passengers be ensured. Will the railway administration do this?
