The Election Commission of India (ECI) has said that since the election rules have come into force immediately after the announcement of the Lok Sabha elections, it is advisable to refrain from posting comments or criticisms, memes, pictures, jokes and videos of any political party in any group. Also, this is in view of the unwanted aftermath. The public has been asked to be cautious.
