Even though there are many political leaders in the country, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi leader Thirumavalavan is confident that he will take the demand of the social media to the Chief Minister and fulfill it.
This is the qualification of the leaders of a political party. Not only that, but this is the political public interest. Political parties are needed for this public service. But it is of no use to anyone by leaving it in the mouth of the corporate mike. It’s easy to say, it’s hard to do.
We have to look for leaders in the BJP and AIADMK. If this was Karunanidhi, there would have been a solution to all these demands long ago. A government that cannot solve the problems of the press and the problems of journalists! How will it solve people’s problems?
Moreover, if politics becomes selfish, then it is futile to advertise political parties. Such newspapers and television channels advertise them only for their own selfish interests. This is the case with many corporate newspapers today.
Moreover, political parties and party leaders should change this. If they have a stake in the fault, then the corporate press and the TV channels are 100% responsible! These are the people who are taking this fake politics to the people. Thus,

For the past ten years, the People’s Power Magazine and the Internet have been agitating for the social media to be given privileges and advertisements. I have also been regularly giving fact-checks to the news officials in this regard and publishing the news.
Even a few months back, there were many political parties in the country. But, don’t even leaders of a political party have the right to talk about these social media issues? Asking that question? That’s what I wrote. Is it politics to ignore so much? besides
Speaking at a meeting of the All India Federation of Journalists (AIJF) recently, Thirumavalavan said, “It is a comfort and a joy for all of us. Because this is a question of our rights. Moreover, we have no personal grudge against him. But I have an opinion on his politics. Besides, people like me will not accept mistakes in political parties. It’s not just a political party, it’s the same in the field of journalism. For whatever purpose the press is, it must be for that purpose. Political parties should exist for the purpose for which political parties should exist.
It is only when it strays from its path that there are contradictions. Besides, Thirumavalavan, as a political party leader and a journalist, took up the matter and spoke to many journalists present there, which is highly appreciated.
Because! Journalists have spoken there criticizing the DMK government. The reason is that the officials of the media department are negligent and do not even know why we run a newspaper. Do they know the truth about the newspaper? I don’t know.
Moreover, the PROs who are able to cut the news that comes in the daily newspaper and work in the post office do not know the merit and quality of the newspaper. This was the situation 30 years ago. Now the journalism industry has undergone many evolutions. I have researched this in the journalism department and given each of my articles. I think the Director of the News Department would have understood this very well.
It was during the DMK regime that they made a condition that they would give you a government identity card only if you beat ten thousand people, and not those who did not. Are social media and corporate journals the same? Also, if you hit ten thousand copies, how many advertisements would you give? There is no answer to that question from the news department. But even then, there was a politics of giving to those who wanted it and those who did not want it, give it to these newspapers, not to those newspapers.
Moreover, running a political party or running a press is not an ordinary thing. It is also a newspaper run by the common man and it is a labor pain for them every month. It is very difficult to win in a newspaper without a political backing.
Also, there are more than a thousand people in social welfare magazines, my Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. It is only now that they have been inspired to take advantage of this privilege and publicity.
I think the reason for this is that the truth about the corporate newspapers that people continue to write about in power has reached the journalists. Wouldn’t I sometimes copy it and put it on 10 people? That’s what I thought. Now, if Thirumavalavan can find a solution to this problem, then his social contribution is as important as it is spoken of by the times. besides
He has written political comments about Thirumavalavan. If I don’t write like that, I’m not worthy of journalism. Moreover, it is a great cruelty that the news department has deceived the press for so long without knowing the difference between these corporate newspapers and social welfare journals.
What is the reason for that? At that time, there were newspapers like Dina Thanthi, Dinamani, Dinamalar, Dinakaran, The Hindu, Indian Express, and so on. Now, in Tamil Nadu alone, there are lakhs of newspapers.
What are the newspapers that continue to be published? How do they give? Our main demand is that these newspapers should be given concessions and advertisements, including many things like what is the benefit to the society. Not only that, there were not so many competitions in the world of journalism then.
So, these corporate newspapers, in the name of circulation, are the ones who give importance to these four or five newspapers, no matter which party comes to power in the political background.
Moreover, their politics is that they should not give anything to social welfare newspapers like us! It is not ordinary politics, if a newspaper makes a mistake, they immediately write it as a yellow paper. In the midst of so many competitions, that too with the corporate press! It’s very, very severe.
The reason is that in every district, reporters are hiring and getting jobs. But can the middle class behave like that? Those who run a newspaper with black money can run it. In an ordinary middle-class family like ours, we can only fight as much as we can. You can hit any number of lakhs, but it’s not a big deal. They show it in government money and call it skill.
Besides, the concessions and advertisements that are now to be given to these social welfare newspapers are a necessity for the times. In those days, there were no websites, no WhatsApp, no Facebook, no Twitter, but now everything exists. These newspapers carry the news to the people. That’s why their circulation has been completely shattered. They are showing fake circulation accounts.
A friend of mine, who also runs a newspaper in Coimbatore, recently told me that the Dina Thanthi paper is getting a ton of returns. Likewise, it is said that the Dinamani paper does not appear in certain places. Today, I have heard that when Dinamalar Railway gives food to the passengers, it is also included. Is there any railway administration that charges less fare from the passengers? I don’t know.
These newspapers, which were once giants, are now struggling. The reason for this is its social welfare press. That is why these newspapers should not be given any concessions and advertisements. If we give them, they will come as a competitor to us. There will be more competition in the field of journalism. They are still doing politics. But the competition for these social media platforms is fierce. Now the circulation is not shown.
They are also now running the magazine online. Those who read the internet are somewhat knowledgeable. Those who don’t know the subject don’t read the newspaper on the Internet. Even if a message is false, they will not even open the news that has no value in it. This is the truth I found on the website. Here the fakes can not be caught attacking for a long time.
Therefore, it is the need of the hour for Chief Minister Stalin to fulfill this demand. Yesterday, a memorandum was sent to Vice President CP Radhakrishnan requesting him to give concessions and advertisements to social media persons.
This is because he was twice the Union Minister of State for Information in the BJP. Despite Murugan’s existence, he is a waste of time for journalists like us.
There is nothing to listen to or see. The same is the case with Annamalai. Tamilisai Soundararajan, all the leaders who came to the BJP have made demands in this regard, but they have ignored them.
Now, Nayanar Nagendran has sent a memorandum to the Union Ministry of Information on behalf of People’s Adhikari. No one has taken it seriously and that is why it is painful for journalists like us.
In such a situation, when you think that Thirumavalavan, who is the leader of a political party and a Member of Parliament in Tamil Nadu, has assured these journalists and the press that he will definitely tell the Chief Minister that he will fulfill your demand, it is really to be appreciated.
