Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K.stalin has ordered free silt to be taken from lakes, ponds and ponds in Tamil Nadu without desilting and protecting the lakes and ponds.

In Tamil Nadu, farmers have never tried to cultivate silt from lakes, ponds and ponds. Neither the farmers nor the potters have taken the soil to the extent of 30 tractors per acre.
