In Tamil Nadu, farmers have never tried to cultivate silt from lakes, ponds and ponds. Neither the farmers nor the potters have taken the soil to the extent of 30 tractors per acre.
So is the soil they are picking up that goes to agriculture? Or going into business? Who knows? They give patta, chitta, give everything, but where does that soil go? Who’s to say that? Will the District Collectors inspect this in every district?
Also, what is needed for agriculture so far? No government has ever asked farmers. But during the rainy season, the farmers have no way to even protect their harvested paddy and get damaged in the rains. They borrow money from traders and are unable to repay their debts and are eating more than half of their profits.
Whether it is rains, natural calamities, pests or water scarcity that cause the farmers to suffer. What is the remedy for that? The Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu should have seen this first. Lakes, ponds and ponds (water bodies) should be desilted to prevent rainwater from flowing wastefully into the sea.
Go to Andhra Pradesh, how are the water bodies? Without doing all that, will Karnataka release water? Or will Andhra Pradesh open water? You are doing politics in Tamil Nadu by begging.
In such a situation, how to dig soil from water bodies? What will happen to the water bodies? Farmers and social activists are in fear. Also, is this really for the farmers? Or are the sand mafias planning to take over?
This truth will come out only now. – Social activators say.
